An aircraft carrying 12 people crashed in Kenya’s Kwale County on Tuesday, prompting an investigation by aviation and government authorities.

An aircraft carrying 12 people crashed in Kenya’s Kwale County on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.

The plane was travelling from Diani to Kichwa Tembo, Maasai Mara National Reserve, when the accident occurred. Government agencies are at the scene conducting investigations to determine the cause of the crash and assess its impact, the authority said.

“The Kwale County commander who is on site says the aircraft is completely destroyed and no survivor,” reported the Kenya News Centre.
