At least eight personnel were seriously injured after an accidental blast took place on the premises of the Nowgam police station in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night, according to a PTI report, citing officials.

The incident happened when police personnel were taking samples of explosive material seized from Faridabad in connection with a “white-collar” terror module case, officials added.

The explosives, totaling 360 kg, had been seized from a rented residence in Faridabad belonging to Dr. Muzzamil Ganaie, one of the eight individuals arrested in connection with the terror module case.
