Bihar Exit Polls 2025 Live Updates: Most exit polls predict NDA clean sweep with 130+ seats, MGB trails

Bihar Exit Polls 2025 Live Updates: Bihar’s 2025 Assembly election reached a key stage on Tuesday as the second and final phase of voting concluded across 122 constituencies in 20 districts. Voters wrapped up a high-stakes campaign marked by intense rallies, sharp political messaging, and strong turnout, with attention now shifting to exit polls and the November 14 results.

The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has reached its decisive stage. With the second and final phase of voting now complete, attention turns to the exit polls, offering the first snapshot of voter sentiment. Early projections from Matrize, People’s Insight, Dainik Bhaskar, and Peoples Pulse suggest a strong showing for the ruling NDA, while Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraaj, contesting its first Bihar election, may find it difficult to open its account.
Note: Exit polls are projections and may not reflect the official results.
After weeks of intense campaigning, voters turned out in large numbers for both phases. The first phase on November 6 recorded a turnout of 65.08 per cent, while the second phase on November 11 saw participation rise to 67.14 per cent by 5 pm. The key question now: which party’s message resonated most with Bihar’s electorate?

Bihar Exit Polls 2025 Live Updates: All exit polls indicate NDA sweeping win, Jan Suraaj struggles to make an impact

Bihar’s fiercely contested 2025 Assembly election reached a crucial stage on Tuesday, November 11, as the second and final phase of voting concluded. Voters across 122 constituencies in 20 districts, including key seats in Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Bhagalpur, and Purnia, cast their ballots, wrapping up a campaign marked by intense rallies, sharp political messaging, and heavy turnout in several areas.

Polling ended at 5 pm, and attention now turns to exit polls, which will provide the first indication of voter sentiment in this tightly fought election. The Bihar Exit Poll 2025 results will be streamed live on CCN-News18, featuring seat projections, vote-share trends, and analysis from ground reporters and political experts.

When will results be declared?

Counting for all 243 Assembly seats will take place on November 14. Until then, exit polls remain the primary gauge of which alliance may have the upper hand.

Parties in the fray

The NDA is seeking to continue its rule in Bihar, while the RJD, supported by the Congress, aims to break JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar’s two-decade-long tenure as Chief Minister. In 2015, the RJD had allied with JD(U) to win the elections, but the alliance soon broke. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is now trying to overcome the party’s electoral jinx. Key candidates include veteran JD(U) leader Bijendra Prasad Yadav, seeking an unprecedented eighth term from Supaul.

Exit polls and their track record

Exit polls, conducted immediately after voting ends, have historically been a mixed guide. In the 2020 Bihar elections, most exit polls predicted a win for Tejashwi Yadav or a tight contest, but the final results differed. The Nitish Kumar-led NDA retained power, with the RJD emerging as the single largest party with 75 seats and the BJP winning 74. The NDA secured 125 seats, just above the majority mark of 122, while the Mahagathbandhan ended with 110 seats.

As Bihar completes its second phase of polling, all eyes are now on the exit polls and the results on November 14, which will decide the state’s political future.
