Diplomatic engagement between India and Iran continues as Dr S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, received a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday evening. As per a post on X by the External Affairs Minister, the two leaders held a detailed discussion on various aspects of the current situation and agreed to remain in close contact going forward.

The Ministry of Iran also stated in a post on X that Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and India’s External Affairs Minister S.
